With just a small window of time in the basketball season, we hopped in the car on a 3-hour drive north to Brian Head, Utah, to celebrate Christmas.
As we arrived to the cabin ~ graciously lent to us ~ Molly and I took in the view of a ski slope just out the back...Molly loved watching the skiers!
We were in luck to park in a garage with all of this snow...cause I think we left our ice scrapers in Illinois!
Here is the beautiful cabin, where we stayed.
Christmas Eve, Molly opened her Christmas PJ's!
Is Santa really coming?
Here we are on Christmas morning...
Tea anyone?
WhileDaddy's cooking up some pancakes in the kitchen, Molly is preparing our next meal on her new set of pots and pans.
After a nap, Molly was very excited to venture outside!
It snowed ALL DAY!
Here is a view looking out the front door:
The next morning...
Once assistance arrived to clear the driveway, it was time to leave our Winter Wonderland... Here is the bridge right next to the house, which goes over the ski slope. Far below are the skiers/snowboarders heading down.
What an unbelievable memory. Between the snowfall in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago, and this trip to Brian Head, I think Molly has figured out what snow is all about :)
Married in May of 2004, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Basketball relocated us about the same time as the wedding from DeKalb, Illinois to sunny Las Vegas, Nevada, where Mike is on staff with the UNLV Runnin' Rebels. Allison is now working part-time, to spend more time at home with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Molly. Mike grew up in Burlingame, Kansas, and is one of four children (Dave, Mike, Dawn, Melinda). Allison is not sure where to call home (having lived in seven different places while growing up), and is the oldest of two (Allison, Amanda). We have a total of six nieces and nephews.
